Newsletters can be a powerful way to entice users to register with an organization, which makes them a key initiative in order to start new customers on a path to being paid subscribers.
With that in mind, we’ve been working on a year-long project to improve our newsletter management pages.
More organizations are going to curated newsletters, which offer more perceived value than an automated feed.
As part of the redesign, we’ve included thumbnail images, summary descriptions and delivery date info, to give potential customers a better idea of what to expect, should they decide to subscribe.
Users can also preview individual newsletters and see an example of what they’re like.
We’re also integrating local market offerings with national newsletters from USA Today and sports content from our national Sports team.
As part of the project, we’re also creating multiple new template designs; everything from automated feeds, to hand-written offerings.
